The Midweek Bass Anglers enjoyed another great tournament at Roosevelt Lake, starting off with a full steak barbeque on Tuesday evening, and culminating with the main event on the lake on Wednesday which found 20 boats going head to head to locate the heaviest 5 fish bag. About 40 people attended the barbeque at the Hiway 188 tackle store, with Dwayne Steel and his wife Beverly as our gracious hosts for the meal. The guys enjoyed a great meal while sitting in the comfort of the store’s covered patio amidst the chatter of dock talk and great fishing stories. Congrats to Jerry Askam and Nick Wampach on a nice victory.
Looking for a custom pattern? Have old lures that could use a new coat of paint? Local college student/bass fisherman Coty might be able to help. Coty stopped by our last club meeting and showed us some of his fine work, he even donated a couple of his custom lures to the raffle.

The members of the Midweek Bass Anglers donated $310 to the Arizona Game & Fish Department in April. This money will be used for florida strain largemouth bass stocking at Roosevelt Lake, and every dollar donated will be matched by the AZGFD. To date, our club has donated over $800 to this effort.
Have a favorite fishing rod with a broken guide or tip? Our very own Mike Adamson does quality work. He is also looking for broken rods that he can repurpose. See the club roster for contact info.
