12 boats gathered at Bartlett Lake on 12/16 for a little fun group fishing. We started around 7AM, just before sunrise, with the temps in the low 30's. There was a slight breeze on the water, resulting in temps that felt like the low 20's. It wasn't too bad if you were bundled up, but its kind of hard to fish in gloves, so no gloves while fishing. At one time my partner Bill's hands were so cold he couldn't tie a know on his line. It finally warmed up around 10AM. Most teams were just shy of their limits, but Tony Medina and his partner managed nice "Bartlett Bass" to take home the days honors. The day ended on the far side of the lake, on a sandy beach, where we all beached our boats and enjoyed a wonderful shore lunch comprises of fried mahi mahi and cole slaw, compliments of Gary Martlage. What a great day.
